In good company
For innovative insurance solutions
Shipping is the backbone of global trade and the global economy, and seafarers are at the core of shipping’s future. With that in mind, Marine Benefits was established in 2006 with the sole purpose of providing truly global insurance solutions for seafarers and their families.

Today we pride ourselves on being the shipping industry's leading specialist in crew insurance solutions
Providing seafarers and their dependents with social benefits such as medical, disability and life insurance has proven results and significant positive effects, not only for the seafarers and their families but for the shipowners as well, in terms of crew retention rates and enhanced safety onboard.
Marine Benefits is fully owned by Norwegian Hull Club, one of the largest marine insurers in the world with a history dating back to 1837
Our insurance products are underwritten by Norwegian Hull Club and Lloyd’s of London, offering strong financial security amongst specialist underwriters and giving us access to the world’s largest insurance market, which in turn enables us to tailor our products to our clients’ specific needs. The Norwegian Hull Club’s vision “Expect More” is embodied into our organization allowing our clients to have the same high expectations of our services, products and knowledge. As a pure marine specialist, Marine Benefits is a derivate from the loss prevention perspective of Norwegian Hull Club, with the objective of improving safety at sea through loyalty on board.
