Our Seafarer Care 365 cover provides care and peace of mind for both you and your most valuable resource – your seafarers – in a convenient, easy-to-use package.

By combining the Medical Plan with cover also while at work, you are in a better position to ensure your seafarers’ wellbeing and health 365 days a year. This applies whether they are at home or at work, regardless if this is on board a vessel or other business-related activity.

What is covered?

  • Medical treatment – at home, onboard or at work-related conference/seminar
  • Repatriation
  • Crew replacement
  • Compensation in case of disability or death
  • Other liabilities in accordance with the seafarer’s contract/CBA

Required Information

  • Full name and address of insured company
  • Number of vessels, preferably with name and/or IMO number
  • Number of seafarers, by country of residence
  • Trade and trading waters
  • Upper limits for medical treatment at home
  • Preferred deductible for incidents onboard
  • Montly wages, employment contracts and/or relevant CBAs
  • Claims statistics from any current provider, if available

  • In the event of a severe accident, Seafarer Care 365 covers cost for sick wages, disability or death in accordance with the seafarer’s contract/CBA.
