Crew Connect 2025

Events, News

Our team joined maritime professionals from across the world at Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global 2025.

On Day 2, our Public Health Manager, Rebecca Hayes Mejia, joined three A.P. Moller – Maersk cadets to discuss how the industry can adapt to the needs of a new generation.

As shore-based roles offer more flexibility and remote work, the maritime industry faces growing pressure to attract and retain young talent. Insights from our Re:fresh health study, a cadet pulse survey, and experiences shared by ANN DANTE MARY PLANCO, John Mark Tiquia, and @Shahana Dhen Padigos, highlighted key areas for cadets: wellbeing, work-life balance, and clear career paths.

Also, thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about our health insurance solutions for seafarers and their families, and a special thanks to our clients for taking the time to connect. It was great to engage in conversations about the needs of the maritime community and how we can continue supporting seafarers.
