We provide all our clients with full insight into the performance of their insurance cover. The extensive report, gives detailed information on how the insurance is being used and by which member groups. The report is fully anonymized to protect personal privacy.

To prepare a health insurance proposal, Marine Benefits requires basic company and workforce information. This includes the full legal name and registered address of the insured company, the total number of seafarers to be covered, their countries of residence, and the required limits of coverage. This information allows Marine Benefits to structure an appropriate plan.
A Medical Plan is a type of health insurance that helps cover the cost of medically necessary treatments. For seafarers and their families, it ensures access to quality healthcare when they are at home in their country of residence.
Members can choose between cashless treatment or reimbursement. The recommended and most efficient option is our cashless system, where members simply visit a network hospital and Marine Benefits pays the bill directly—no upfront payment needed. If a member faces an emergency or cannot access a network provider, reimbursement is available: the member pays the bill at the time of treatment, submits a reimbursement claim, and Marine Benefits refunds the cost.
