In this update, we share where Marine Benefits will be attending upcoming events throughout April, as well as conferences our colleagues have recently participated in to gain insights and knowledge that help us better support our clients and their seafarers.
Where We’re Heading
Crew Connect 2026
CrewConnect Global returns this October, bringing together maritime professionals from across the crewing and maritime sectors. The Marine Benefits team will be attending throughout the event, and you can also find us at Booth 25 on level 3, where we will have a dedicated team ready to discuss health insurance for seafarers and their families.
Our Public Health Manager, Rebecca Hayes Mejia, will also take the stage for a live interview exploring the findings from Re:fresh 2026, the latest edition of Marine Benefits’ global health and wellbeing study. Drawing on insights from nearly 31,000 seafarers across 60 companies, the conversation will uncover key trends, surprising findings and practical lessons for supporting health and wellbeing at sea.

Marine Benefits Hamburg Seminar 2026
We are pleased to announce the first Marine Benefits seminar in Hamburg, taking place on 17 November 2026.
Joining us will be Casper Meland, CEO of Marine Benefits, Henrik Jensen, CEO of Danica Maritime, and former Bayern Munich defender and Norwegian international footballer Tuva Hansen. By bringing together voices from the maritime industry and elite sport, the seminar will explore key themes in crew resilience and retention, while considering what the maritime industry can learn from other high-performing environments.

The Marine Benefits team will also be attending the Maritime HR & Crew Management Summit Europe in London this November.
